Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation-Review !

It’s been hyped by makeup artists and even Kim K uses it! But does it really work?

Packaging and Bottle: It comes in a black shiny box, along with details of the foundation. As you open it up, you see the cover of the pump, which is very sturdy, so the foundation won’t accidentally squirt or make a mess if you’re travelling. The bottle is frosted glass so it feels very luxurious. The glass is fairly thick also so it shouldn’t break if travelling.

Foundation: So I’ve been using this foundation for over a year now. I have one word for it, amazing! It’s quite a light-medium coverage foundation but also buildable. It gives you a slight glow so the ‘luminous’ in the name is definitely true. The foundation applies seamlessly and just glides onto the skin. So you don’t really have to work it into the skin very much, like some foundations. It gives you that flawless, silky looking skin so the name is completely true to the formula.

Price: £42 ($64). 30ml

Final thoughts: I’m really happy with the foundation, this is my go-to and even though it’s more on the high end mark, trust me its worth it since it gives you radiant, natural looking skin. And if you’re going for a more glamorous look, the foundation builds very well without ever getting cakey. Highly recommend!

  1. That price isn’t too bad!! I’ve seen worse lol. How does it hold up for the summer with humidity? Asking for a friend 👀 lol no I’m kidding. I would like to try it – just curious to know how it holds up in the heat?

  2. It holds up well! I’d probably advise a pore minimising primer in the T-zone just to keep your pores at bay in the summer. I use primer with most foundations though to help with longevity. I hate touching up haha! Hope this helps! 😊

  4. Hello , I never tried this fondation , but I guess it ‘s good , I am an Armani lover , maybe I am going to buy it one day , for now I am using the Fenty fondation of Riri and I am quite happy with the product 😉
