Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer Review !

Concealer, is one of the fundamental parts of makeup, to either hide our bags, redness, or uneven skin. But does this internationally raved concealer do it’s intended job? Before and after photo further down!

First Impressions: It comes in a matte black box, with the Nars logo immediately noticeable and the product name stated. Ingredients are listed and yes, it’s a fairly basic box but I like it. It’s understated and simple. As you open it up and take out the concealer, you see a matte black handle covering less than half of the plastic, but sturdy bottle. The concealer exterior is quite simplistic, yet effective with the Nars branding stated on the bottle.

Formula: It’s a medium to full coverage concealer, but very buildable. It really is what it says on the tin! And that’s what you want from anything you purchase. It’s a very creamy formula, not watery, not thick and heavy. So you only need a little bit do the job. This kind of formula is perfect for the under-eye area as, it’s so easy to blend and you won’t find yourself tugging at your tender skin around the eye, to get it blended and smooth. Also, some concealers can leave the eye looking a bit more matte and dull. This one doesn’t. Since, it leaves the under-eye looking radiant and luminous, it brings your underage area forward looking bright and healthy, like it comes from within. The tube comes with a wand, not the biggest of wands like the ‘Tarte Shape Tape’. So if you’re a concealer lover, you might find yourself dunking for more! Lastly this concealer, claims to smooth wrinkles and fatigue, what’s not to love?

Before and after concealer/makeup. My bags are clearest from my profile.

Final Thoughts: This concealer is like a full nights sleep in a bottle! I’ve been using it for years and nothing compares to it, honestly! I sometimes use this and a bit of Tarte shape tape, if I want a slightly heavier coverage payoff with the mixture of formulas. But you really don’t need it. That’s just me being extra. The price point is a bit on the high side, but if you want a concealer you can trust to give you high coverage, leaving your skin looking naturally seamless, time and time again, this is for you. I don’t think I’d ever steer away from this product, if anything I’d just add to it. And that’s when you know, you found your perfect match and holy grail!

Dupe: Maybelline Fit Me Concealer. This is a great version for if you want a similar concealer at a lower price point! https://amzn.to/2XEZ8mp

  1. Hi Antonia :
Thanks for the review. I plan to try the Nars concealer.
I have been using a Born This Way concealer, which is quite good. I find that sometimes I need to blend two shades of concealer to get a good match.
I use Nars blush, and am very happy with that.
