Holiday To Paris – Part Deux !

From Paris to Disneyland Paris, if you’re looking for Parisian views, you’ve come to the right place!

The scenery from the Eiffel towel is incredible! There isn’t a view like it! The breath-taking views leave you spellbound. And because I’m not scared if heights, I could’ve stayed up there all day! If you are scared of heights maybe level 1 in the Eiffel Tower is more tolerable as you can still experience the wonderful views without such a drastic look down, sometimes leaving you feeling sick or light headed. Photos of me are further down this post!

I found this book so helpful on my trip and it comes with a pull out map which was extremely helpful as you can imagine:

Disneyland Paris! What can I say? It was spectacular! It was so much more than what I could have ever imagined. I honestly just thought before, Disneyland would have a few rides and that’s basically it. But there’s much more. It’s like a decently sized town! For the maximum capacity to be 55,000 people, you can imagine how massive Disneyland really is. I went for a day and it wasn’t enough time, as I didn’t get to go everywhere. And my feet were in extreme pain afterwards, even though I was in trainers! So I highly recommend foot support. There are many restaurants and shops around so anything you can imagine, more or less they have! You know the magnificent buildings and palaces they have in Shrek and many Disney movies? It’s that and more. You find yourself walking around in a magical fantasy. Many, especially females, think of fairytales when they first experience romance and Disneyland is exactly that. A magical magnificent fairytale. If I could call it a fairyland, I would! I was so surprised by how taken aback I was, as I’ve heard a few things about Disneyland being wonderful but I was like yeah yeah okay. Quite dismissive. How wrong was I? And the parades are extraordinary, they have many of the Disney characters come out on rides along with music, dancing and waving, everyone just having a great fun time! But it’s truly unreal, I highly recommend it! One thing though is I kept seeing parents letting there children go and run around the place, that’s all okay but there are thousands of people around, many are speaking all different sorts of languages and even though it’s immensely spacious, some areas attract more than others. Then I’d see a few parents here and there hysterical and going out of their minds when they can’t find their child. There have been a few notable kidnappings from theme parks. Even though it’s very rare, there are thousands of people in this environment, many children and adults. I think if I went there with a child in the future, I’d have them on a safety rein and have my child with one of those trackers that you can get nowadays. And just never let them out of my sight, Because even though it’s an incredibly amazing place, it is very hectic there. I didn’t wanna get lost and I’m 20!

This post has been longer than I expected and I still haven’t managed to fit in visiting the Louvre! I have one hell of a story to tell you about that and photos! So that’ll be in the next post! Have you ever been to Disneyland? And if so which one? What’s your favourite Disney character? Are you scared of heights? Would you ever go to the top level of the Eiffel Tower? Comment Below!

    1. It’s even more incredible in real life! I love beauty and the beast too! Has always been one of my favourite Disney films! I haven’t seen the 2014 film? But I’ve seen the original animated one and the Emma Watson remake? I think the animated older versions have the slight edge! But I must try the 2014 version you’re speaking about!

  2. Great set of photos! I would enjoy the view from the top of the Eiffel Tower. While I haven’t been to France, I visited America’s Disneyland in the early ’70s. So much has changed since then.

    1. Thankyouu! So glad you enjoyed them. The view from the top is magical! You’re so right, so much has changed! Did you enjoy Disneyland in the 70’s? I know you can’t compare it as you haven’t been since but how was it then?😊

      1. My parents and their six children visited California in the summer of 1973 for a family reunion. We included time for two days at Disneyland. The experience was amazing and memorable as we had never made such a trip.

      2. You’re so lucky to have had two days. You definitely need at least a couple days, now I know! That must’ve been a lovely family vacation. Disneyland I imagine, must be even better around numerous members of family! Happiness is infectious😊

  3. I want to go to Paris! I’ve been tentatively preplanning a trip to Paris. Paris is the top of my travel list.

I’ve been to Disneyland in Southern California once. I was 3. The one thing I remember, my mom says didn’t happen. Maybe I should go back there too.

  4. Beautiful photos. ❤

I definitely want to visit the Eiffel Tower some day.

When I first started writing my series of vampire novels, my vampire hunter character would meet with the President of the International Federation of Vampire Hunters atop the Eiffel Tower. 😀

    1. There is so much to do! I only went for 4 days and that was far from enough time. We only got to see and experience a few monuments!
What you said at the end is so true! There’s so much to choose from, but that’s part of the fun!

      1. There’s always tomorrow!

We are an aspirational species, meaning our whole operating system is constructed of tomorrows.

You’ll see them next time, Antonia – Versailles, the Trianon, the Louvre… (did I read your third article, or am I psychic?)!
