Milestone: 1000 Followers!

I’m speechless! I can’t believe it!

When I first started this blog which is just under a year old, I never would’ve thought in my wildest dreams I’d reach this milestone. I didn’t even have 100 followers in my head, never mind 1000.

Everyone on this platform, start from such humble beginnings, and obviously mine was the exact same, 0 followers. When you have 1 follower its like “Woooo that’s amazing!”, but to times that feeling 1000 times is magnificent!

Blogging does have it’s high and low times as it can get quite lonely. Sitting at your laptop for hours on end, sometimes topics pop into your head other times you need to find inspiration somehow, and dig that little bit deeper. It’s a one woman band and it can be daunting at times, sometimes even publishing a post, I can get quite nervous as to how people will perceive it. Then when I get feedback and such a warm embracing feeling from you all, it honestly feels like I’m talking to family! So now I ramble on feeling more confident than ever! Many of the topics or the depth I go into on here, I shy away from in my own family, as the atmosphere is even more tense!

When I talk, sometimes people especially in my family, fail to listen and you kind of get cast away as your elder siblings are probably more ‘knowledgable’. And having been brought up with 7 half siblings, me being the youngest, many only see me as being the ‘child of the family’. And really not taking much notice in your voice/perception. My blog has been even more expressive than I had ever thought it would be.

I still have so much more to divulge and go into detail about on here beauty, health, and lifestyle related along with my hypothetical scenarios which are very much realistic! And I definitely will do that since you must be at least semi-interested in what I have to say haha!

Mediocre

Happiness can be extremely hard to measure, but just know you’ve impacted my life in more ways than you could even imagine, you’ve made me smile when I didn’t want to, you’ve made me laugh when I didn’t think I could, and you’ve made me feel listened to, in a world I’ve sometimes felt utterly silent in.

Thankyouu for supporting myself and BeautyFile so far, and for the foreseeable future! Air hugs!! Keeping in mind social distancing of course…

  30. Naturally, Antonia. When a blog is as well-written as yours is, and when the topics cover just about everything of interest, no wonder it rockets

    Remember, too, you took a month or so off when you moved. Yet still, 0 to (over) 1,000 in less than a year. Extraordinary, huh?

    Plus, you show no signs of changing what brought us here in the first place, and kept us checking back. Within the year, you’ll be amazed you ever got so excited about having “only” a thousand people in your audience.

    Your observations have made recognition irresistible, and now you have it. Enjoy the crowd you’ve attracted, and which gathers still!

  41. Wow! That gives me hope. I’ve been blogging about 4 weeks and am nearing 800 views but only about 40 followers. Still enjoying it and constantly making notes on ideas for new posts. Congratulations on your success! Blogging is not as easy as some people think!

  42. Congratulations i know the feeling. I’m now over 2.000 and it feels so undeserved because I write very little mine is researching and posting and my first years was horrible. U will pass me in no time.
