In my experience, winters tend to compensate for the summers that precede them. Thus, hot and dry now means cold and snowy in January. Maybe not much of an issue in the UK, as you tend not to get much snow, but here the continental US, we’re gonna get socked! Awesome when just luxuriating, but much less so when walking or driving.
Please tell me you’re reading this Nature, because this is a perfect opportunity to prove my ideas idiotic.
I share that same theory! I always think if it’s been a scorching summer, it’ll be a snowy beautiful winter, but I’ve noticed for the past few years in England, that theory has been completely turned on it’s head! Winter really isn’t that snowy or icy anymore even though our summers can be blazing now.🔥

Exactly! I don’t mind heat (even though it’s not my favourite) if there’s a breeze and some shade, but this summer… it’s been like wham bam thank you ma’am! I feel like I’m in a scorching fire all the time!😂 thankfully it’s starting to cool down!❄️
I’m with you GF I don’t mind it warm cause I like to tan a little but it’s been ridiculously hot here in Michigan I’ve pretty much given up on makeup during the day! A lot of water 💦 proof eyeliner and mascara cause it’s been so humid lol 😂
Totally! I don’t mind some warmth, but when you sit down and you still sweat, that’s when the heat is too much for me. You can’t even walk anywhere without sweating buckets, I don’t understand how some find that enjoyable😂😂. My idea of heaven would be like the film frozen! But instead of ice everywhere – snow!😍❄️

No way😦. That’s something I’ll never understand! I’d rather be shivering in snow compared to sweating in the sun whilst my skin gets burnt!😂😟 This is something we’ll have to disagree on!😂

Same in Arizona USA. Temps next few days will be around 115 degrees Fahrenheit 😱
