Christmas Already? Yes, Yes and YAAASS!

The C word is being mentioned more and more in conversation. And no, it’s the good C word… well it should be! CHRISTMAS!!!

If you know me, you’ll know I’m a Christmas freak. It’s never too early. And if it is… your new name should be grinch! And with the new season arriving, that calls for many changes!

Autumn/Winter Closet

Autumn Winter Fashion Look Book

This is my favourite kind of closet. I love layering and wrapping up for the cold! I get quite bored in the summer of just wearing the ‘essentials’ just to maintain modesty! No, no! Style is at its prime in your autumn winter closet. There are so many more ideas and outfits you can play around with; mix and match!

You can just look like a style icon all the time! And not a sweaty one! I mean who likes their clothes latching on to them by their sweat. Ew, no. Whoever thinks that’s “fun” needs some serious help!

Autumnal Makeup

The time where it’s more “acceptable” to wear glitter is finally here! I’m a glitterholic on the best of days, no matter the season, but I can go even more over the top, and have a valid reason! I wouldn’t even mind being mistaken for Jojo Siwa!

Jojo Siwa

But seriously, there’s no better time for ruby red lips, all that glitters eye lids, and skin that glows like a glitterball. Autumn’s all about warm tones of chocolate browns and burgundy. Switch up your usual routine and dramatise your everyday makeup to get you in the mood for the wintery months!

Christmas Parties

Walking into your Office Christmas Party like….

Bella Hadid

If this isn’t how you’re making an entrance, girl – follow my lead. You only really get that one occasion a year to dress up to go out with your work colleagues, so if you’re not going all out… You may as well just stay in!

Leonardo DiCaprio

No but snap out of it! Get dressed, don’t be shy with the makeup, and go HAM with the lip liner and bronzer. I’ll be waiting for my thankyou message! Oh and take a pair of party shoes and roll up ballet pumps in your bag. Who are we kidding?! Trust me I’ve been there when your heels literally make you bleed. Glam but sensible! I occasionally forget the sensible part!

Christmas Markets

What is Christmas without the annual Christmas markets? It’s like not having turkey on Christmas day! If you’re one of those people… You must’ve missed the exit button above..

Christmas doesn’t feel like Christmas without going to at least one Christmas Market. It’s like tradition. It may not be so traditional this year though seeing as everything will be social distanced with masks in use. I mean when you think about it, is that a winter wonderland?

Seeing that I’m not really selling the dream currently, if you do go, enjoy the atmosphere and delicious festive food, and if you don’t it would be extra cozy to have movies on at home, and create your own little Christmas market. With homemade churros, hot chocolate, and all the little nibbles you’d usually never share!

And Last but not least… Christmas Day!

Christmas is extra special, especially this year. Time with our loved ones may have seemed like a distant memory since many of us have been isolating in different households.

It’ll be a time to remember, reflect, and look towards the future. A brighter future. Being present in these moments have shown us how life is such a gift, a gift that isn’t promised and that we should always be thankful for each and everyday that comes. And along with that, each and every person that comes into our life. I look forward to that holiday happiness that only comes around once a year! As Christmas always brings a smile to my face and I hope to share that feeling with all!

OK! CUT! I know I’ve mentioned the word Christmas about one-hundred times already here, but guess what? I’m gonna be mentioning it about a hundred or two more times before the actual day! Yes, yes I’m annoying. Tell me something I don’t know!

Which one of these you’re looking forward to the most? Is Christmas your favourite holiday? Are you already planning? Comment below!

    1. It’s not all about gifts though! Even though it may be apart of it😃, the day spent with loved ones is much better than any gift money could buy 😁. Christmas is only round the corner!🤶🤶

  1. Christmas is my favourite time of the year.

Although I generally start thinking about it after Halloween.

Congratulations on being the first blogger I’ve come across who wrote about Christmas when it was still the month of August. 😀

    1. After Halloween is November! That’s wayyy to late, because then before you know it, it’s January again🤢!
I have to start getting in the Christmas spirit early, so that doesn’t happen!😂😂

That should be an award on here! 🥇😂😂 Thankyou very much!😃😁

  2. Oh, Antonia, I love summer, I really do. Even a scorcher like this year’s.

Still, your post spreads confetti far and wide, and produces a thrill of anticipation. Yes!

Don’t forget one of winter/Christmas’s biggest draws – a sublime coziness.

Quite occasionally, maybe once a year, everything lines up. The pantry is well-stocked, thanks to a recent trip to the market, there’s nowhere else to go the rest if the day and, most important, the snow dances outside. Then, as the world slides into night’s shadows, even better. O…M…G!

Look forward to it all year. Hand-on-heart.

    1. I dislike summer with a passion!😂 If I never saw summer again, it’d be too soon!😂
Yes, that’s what winter is all about! The cosiness just cannot be created in the humid, sticky summer months.
Chestnuts roasting on an open fire…
Compared to summer’s sweltering nights 24/7, that keeps you up almost all night.
Winter all year round I say!😃😊👵

  3. Christmas is the best! But I can’t help but worry what it will bring this year. Can we really enjoy our eggnog together if we’re in the middle of another surge of COVID? Ugh. Here’s hoping for a holly jolly season.

    1. Your outlook is a very realistic one! To be honest, you’re not wrong. It will be difficult to celebrate and ring in the new year. Hopefully we can be optimistic though, as some people have young children to create a happy special Christmas for.
Thankyouu so much for sharing your insight!😃😊

    1. It’s my favourite! I completely hear you! But we all must make the most of it, as they’re really isn’t much else to look forward to.
After all, it’s supposed to be the most wonderful time of the year🎅🤍🤗🤗
