Dibble, dabbling has cost us all. Buying the wrong products really do rack up the costs. Take a quick look in your wardrobe or makeup stash. For instance, you have a a very special occasion coming up, how many options do you really have? Or feel comfortable in? One, two at a push? Come on, we’re doing ourselves an injustice!

We look at A-listers and exhale wondering, how do they make it look so easy? When really the question should be, why do we make it so difficult for ourselves? Your wrist holds all the secrets…

Your veins don’t just supply veins to your heart. Oh no no, they’re vital in many other ways!

They’re actually, your personalised, ready-made stylist. They hold the key as to why your colours clash, and why your foundation shade match is always an impossible mission!

We’re all colour coded more than you’d think. I refer to my veins as my own barcode. They reveal our undertones. Now, to not get ‘tone’ and undertone confused, there’s a simple way to categorise them. Tone is the skin colour on the surface, but like anything there’s always much more than what meets the eye. Undertone, on the other hand, is the hue that’s beneath that top layer.It’s like socks and shoes: tones and undertones mix and match, so there’s a range of possibilities when it comes to potential combinations! I’ve made this sound like a DNA analysis!

Refer to the underside of your wrists:

Cool = Veins on the underside of your wrist appear blue/purple.
Warm = Veins on the underside of your wrist appear green.
Neutral = Veins on the underside of your wrist appear blue/green.
