My 25th Birthday!

Mother’s day tried to gatecrash my birthday, but I absolutely didn’t let that happen! 25, come to mama!

Closer to 30 than 20, is a scary thought! I equally love and hate birthdays; I love celebrating life, but the thought of ageing without a moment to pause and just enjoy now, I detest. “Ageing like a fine wine” is a saying I genuinely do not believe – in my case anyway, I’d rather opt for an instant non-alcoholic beverage thankyou very much!

I had a lovely evening at ‘The Chubby Castor’ located in an idyllic village of Castor, west of Peterborough city centre. Unfortunately, forgetting to take photos due to leaving my phone at home, terrible I know! Michelin-starred prices, michelin-worthy food? Mouthwateringly microscopic, flavourful before my tastebuds were left wondering where the rest of the food’s gone to? Hehe, I will say after the main course I was jolly full! Must’ve been the singular pea that hit the spot… kidding! I have a restaurant name: Edible Air. Does what it says on the tin after all, right? JOKING!

If you look hard enough, theres a three-course meal there. Including the petals of course…

Yes, I’m a quarter centenarian. And yes, I feel it. But am I happier than ever? 100%. Isn’t that what birthdays are all about?
