Starry nights enrich my mind,
To wish upon what I couldn’t find.
Loneliness shines through the midnight sky,
Is this my last lifeline?
To seek adventure; a lifelong desire,
As you grimace, my perception soured.
Second by second, as the golden sun blooms,
I await my cue,
Only to be awoken with the blues.
A daydream, I wish to pursue;
A calling, unable to come through.
Lost in translation, I always knew,
The suffocation at the hands of you.

Indeed lovely! I too write some poetry, but can’t reliably do it unless struck by inspiration. Which sadly doesn’t hit me as much as I would like. So, nice one! You got skills! 👍
