Maybe the tour should be called all the Old 45s, bar one. But in the words of the global hit, ‘you’re a real gone kid’!
I managed to nab two tickets very last minute, via ticketmaster. But when I tell you I was checking for the past month, I kid you not. Not one ticket was available, entirely sold out show. You know how usually on the day of the gig, you get one or two returns? Not one. Even Ricky Ross, the lead vocalist stated that there’s not an empty seat in the house. Their fanbase don’t mess around!
I’m not going to lie, my mum introduced me to their music but I had heard of their ‘Real Gone Kid’ song from a Boots advert. If you know, you know. The chorus is pretty catchy!
I bought these tickets for my mother’s birthday, second time I’ve seen Deacon Blue live, third time for my mother. Incredible live performers and always an uplifting positive energy in the arena. It’s hard not to love them. Family friendly, for all ages which is always a win win.
Enjoy the show!
Hope you enjoyed my little snippets from the fabulous evening!
Have you seen Deacon Blue? Have you heard of them? What’s your favourite Deacon Blue song? Comment below!

I must confess I’ve never heard of Deacon Blue.

Haha I’m not going to lie, I don’t think you’re the only one!🙊 You may have heard one of their songs in passing not realising who the band was, or possibly you’ve just never heard of the songs either😂. That’s also highly likely!😃🙊
