Money is the root of all evil. Or does the evil already exist within you?
Money, comes and goes. It’s a product we figuratively translate into meaning, purpose and fundamentally, worth. The concept helps categorise, compare whilst also having the power to cause conflict. But as Bob Dylan says, ‘Money doesn’t talk, it swears‘. As I prepare the top of my lungs, would you prefer to have front row seats to this exclusive rooftop?
Privilege, power, pain can be some of the range of emotions you may experience relating to chasing paper. You become so consumed on the route to pavements paved in gold, you mistake the compromised coins you historically slipped up on; steady wins the race. Don’t focus on the closing credits when the trailer was created by your vivid but conscious, imagination. No matter how many times you subtract, the figures will never total.
Do the math, it may just balance out the incompetence.

You realise what’s important in life. The richest people are often the loneliest. But they must be comfortable right, happy even? Only if you relish the destination rather than the journey. Relationships are one thing that can’t be bought. It can buy acknowledgement, attention, relevance, even acceptance. Not trust. Not truth. But testing that theory can bring out the true soul that lies within. Once let out the bag, no exorcism can retrieve the person you thought you knew; only money quenches their thirst, not holy water.
Money can come between anyone and anything. Love, blood, business even people no longer with us. There’s no grey area. It’s your moral compass and values that are undoubtedly highlighted and unmasked alongside the additional sound effect of cha-ching. You think money changes people, in reality it underlines who they really are. They may even project or manipulate you to reach their desired outcome. You’re a walking, beating ATM. When you’re lifeless, the entitlement only exceeds.
Don’t lessen your standards, expectations, needs and wants to be seen and noticed as a human being. Money is temporary, your legacy is everlasting.
What do you think? Does money divide or define us? Comment below!

Money is a necessary evil for me…🌞 As long as I have enough of it to pay my bills and have some left over for some fun, I am good.
Money causes too many divides in families, I saw it for myself growing up, and wanted no part it it. While I struggled at times over the years, I was much happier.

It can cause significant divisions in families, friends and even relationships. It makes you question the reasons people befriend you; when you have nothing at times as you’ve mentioned, it highlights who’s stuck around without any financial incentive.
When you see first handedly how much damage money can create in your own family, you question the importance and validity of it all. Seemingly for some damaged, mercenary people, blood definitely isn’t thicker than paper. But at least you definitively know who not to spend time around or trust with a pound coin, never mind your life!
Thankyouu so much for sharing your insight, Stella! 🤗🤍

Money is indeed the root of all evil and you can’t take it with you when you die. So, how valuable is money? It’s the same thing with gold, it has no intrinsic value other than what humans place on it. How many divorces has money caused… All I care about is that the bills are paid. 😊❤️

Money is temporary, you’re right. It can cause so much irreversible damage if you’re surrounded by the wrong people. Life is priceless, so why is money the be all and end all if bills are paid?
Greed. Personal gain.
It can buy you a brand new car, but without any passengers. Unless you buy them too! But that’s a topic for another day haha.
Thankyouu so much for sharing, John!😃🤍

I really love this Blog because it is really a reality check for me personally. I want to inform all of you that I owe a total of $28,000 dollars in student loan debts from the William and Fudge Collection Agency. I know for me, I am also a victim of Age Discrimination because I am a 58 year old man who is trying to find a decent job. I have been turned down for jobs during the past 2 years now. Yes!! It is True: That The Love of Money is the Root of All Evil. I cannot allow it to get the best of me. Like they say, You Make The Money; Rather Allowing The Money To Make You!! I know that I am being more content with the money that I have. I only wish that I could get any job because I want to pay off all of my student loans. Yes, I did graduate from college twice and I was getting ready to earn my Masters Degree in Social Work Myself. It is that I was denied of my Financial Aid because of my default student loans. I am very sorry for all of this excessive information. Please keep me in your prayers because I am in poverty, and the money that I obtain each month is only used to pay my rent and life insurance benefits. My family members cannot afford to bury me. This is the reason why I would like to get a job and pay off all of my debts. I have had a great deal of success during the past 30 years. It is that I lost my job when I was living in the State of North Carolina. I was working at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. It has been very difficult for me living here in Dayton, Ohio. I know that I can only do so much with a very little bit of money. I will admit that I had written three books in 23 years. My first book is The Best of Anthony Hopkins. My Second and Third Books are called Essays and My Grace is Sufficient for Me. Please keep me in your prayers because I am trying to maintain everything to the best of my ability. Like they say: Life is What You Make of It. My books are online on Google. My Book Publisher is called Author-House Publications in Bloomington, Indiana. I have been giving all of my debts to God!! It is that I receive phone calls from William and Fudge Collection Agency regarding my student loans. You know something, I really love your writings. You put a lot of effort in everything that you do to achieve success. You are an Excellent Writer and You are Gifted Academically!! Stay Strong and I have learned my lessons in life. I got scammed out of $16,977 dollars in Western Union Funds by some people from Africa. It hurt me personally, but I am on the verge of achieving success because I am a God Fearing Person. I know that God is doing for me more than I am doing for myself.

Money is an artificial resource that, due to its ability to be exchanged for pretty much anything, hijacks our brains’ reward system. It provides the essentials, food, drink, shelter, but it also is at the root of every vice; addicts see money as their poison of choice, gamblers see it as their next bet, so on.
Humans aren’t wired to contend with this hypervaluable resource and can go looney when it comes to money and itself importance. We evolved optimized to hunt game and gather edible flora, not manage investment portfolios.
Individual happiness and positive social value to those around you are what matters. I’ve walked many, many miles of graveyards and have never seen someone’s net worth chiseled into their gravestone.

The actual Bible verse is 1 Timothy 6:10: For the love of money is the root of all of evil. Money itself is a necessity in this world where we have to barter for what we need. It’s the love of it that causes the problems and it’s that love that puts greed above compassion that really divides us.

Well… at least here in the states you’d better have enough to last you through retirement! Speaking as someone who has worked many low paying jobs early in my life, when you reach middle age and understand that there is an end and you won’t be able to work forever (or at least until you die) that maybe you’d better find a way to save some of it for that time of your life. But yes… there are those where money is was and will always be the pinnacle of their existence. It can and will drive many to do things that are illegal, immoral and just plain wrong and hurtful to those unaware there is a wolf ready to pounce and strip their bones bare! For me though… It’s not about the end, it’s more about those I meet along the way. I have met many with more than ample supplies of monies and belongings, and even recognition and yes even fame, some of them simply want more of both, but there are others that seem to be able to create wealth effortlessly whilst enjoying everyday of the journey and give freely back to those who are not so fortunate. So to break it down to just good and evil I think is over simplifying to subject. It can be both or neither. It’s about how one intends to use the wealth that determines the good or evil the money creates.
Another great subject! I really enjoy reading and pondering your thoughts and musings!😉🤗🤗
Have a GREAT DAY!

For sure, there’s a time and place when it comes to money. If it consumes your life to the degree it supersedes even people in your inner circle, there’s a problem. Then again, it may not be for some!
100%. There’s good and bad in everything dependent on how you look at it. Money doesn’t change you, your net worth is not your identity. But often people get lost in the rat race that is life. If you’re not careful you may even mistake your closest confidant with the opposition. The paranoia can be all too consuming. Is that what life is about?
Aww thankyouu, so glad you enjoyed this post!! Thankyouu so much for reading and sharing your honest and thought-provoking experiences in life!🤗🤍

Your blog has made me as myself a question and I am interested in knowing your thoughts.
Can a person be forgiven for making a bad choice for the right reasons? For thinking the choices they made were right at the time but in the long run were proven to be lacking in critical thought and foresight. Due they deserve to forgive themselves and expect others to do the same? Or should they soldier on in pain and silence accepting that they should not have been hasty or presumptuous in their thoughts and actions?
Saying one is sorry is just not enough it seems to me. But in our language there is no other way to express the feeling of disappointment in oneself for causing hurt and anguish to others. Actions are often used but can also seem and feel hollow and lacking in expression. Will the offended party be willing to accept or understand the depth of the regret the offender feels toward their transgression.
Anyway, if you have any thoughts on this I would be interested in your viewpoints.

True forgiveness is difficult, as it takes time to understand why one has acted in a way that seemed unthinkable and somewhat unforgivable. Pain is a feeling you can’t forget and don’t wish to repeat, which is why closing the chapter and moving on can reinstate control that may’ve been taken from you.
Depending on what it is, most things can be forgiven. If it was for the “right reasons” I imagine it to be pertaining to an emotional action or choice. Those can still be difficult to come to terms with as you can only believe one’s actions and words, which is when you build trust. When they go back on those, you rightly question everything you thought you knew. What was the truth and what was dishonest? When did this shift begin? How did I not see or feel it? And most of all, why didn’t you talk open and honestly before making a choice affecting someone else?
Honest and thoughtful actions do help. If it’s welcome by the other party, of course. Being open about how you felt then, taking accountability for how it was handled and what you would and should’ve done differently, then listening to what they say will either give you a slight opening of potential or that they may have forgiven but wish to keep the past in the past.
The most you can do is follow your gut and heart, what do your instincts tell you? What is the most authentic, apologetic but also sincerity signifying your serious intent for the trajectory of the future and how regretful you are of your past choices.
Actions always speak louder than words. But always listen to whether those actions are welcome or not.
Have faith and what’s meant to be will be. We all have a destiny, where we are today is what was supposed to happen as everything has lead up to now. Don’t look back, just move forward living life learning from your past. You can’t change the past, but you have the power to create your future. Concentrate on what you’d like your future to look like and make your dreams come true. As then if it’s not meant to be, you can always look back proudly and say you stayed true to yourself and gave it your all.
Sorry is a word everyone uses. It’s too easy. Think out of the box to show you really care and understand the damage it’s caused. If you really want something, let your heart do the talking and not so much your pride. Pride can sometimes make someone seem stubborn / guarded or somewhat dishonest if they’re meant to be portraying sincere emotion. Leading to more doubt, from an already shaky situation.
I really hope this helps, but most of all just talk it out. Listening is key.
I’m sure everything will work out for the best either way! Crossing fingers for you. You know when you know!🤗🤍
