Wordless Wednesday – Halloween Edition!

Trick or treating, themed parties or having a quiet one indoors with spooky movies on surrounded by carved candlelit pumpkin, the latter is my go-to! How do you celebrate halloween? What’s your favourite holiday of the year? Comment below!

  1. My favourite holiday is Christmas 🎅 🎄 ❄️ ⛄️ 🎁.

And I celebrate Halloween by staying home and watching one of the old horror movies like Frankenstein (1931) or Dracula (1931) or The Mummy (1932) or Bride of Frankenstein (1935) or Son of Frankenstein (1939) or The Wolf Man (1941) or one of The Mummy movies of the 1940s (The Mummy’s Hand, The Mummy’s Ghost, The Mummy’s Tomb).

    1. Me too!! It’s superior!🎄❄️
I love how you have a whole checklist of Halloween movies😂😂 I don’t think I’ve seen any of these, I can confirm I live under a rock! Have you seen ‘The Conjuring’ or ‘The Ring’? I’ll have to try Dracula this year, whilst I make a conscious effort to ignore trick or treaters😂. Lights off, no one’s home plan works each and every time haha😂😂

      1. LOL @ ignoring trick or treaters by pretending not to be home. 😂😂

I’ve seen the Japanese version of The Ring (which I believe was called Ringu if I remember correctly).

There were a bunch of J-horror films (J-horror stands for Japanese horror) that American film makers re-made in the early 2000s.

I read they weren’t as good as the original J-horror so I didn’t bother seeing them.

I think the U.S. version of The Ring starred Sarah Michele Geller if I remember correctly from seeing the trailer.

I remember there was one J-horror film I saw that showed a Japanese female ghost crawling out of a television set.

That was the scariest J-horror film I remember.

I’ve never looked at a television set the same way again.

        I don’t think I’ve seen The Conjuring.

    1. Haha have you not? Aw I’m not going to lie, if supermarkets sold pre-carved pumpkins, I’d buy them in a heartbeat😂. Call me lazy, but it saves time, and accidental injuries with those ridiculously sharp carving tools! Grab a tealight and you’re good to go!😃🤍
