It’s the holidays! A chance to share much bountiful brunch recipes, Easter Bible verses and the chance to come together with your beloved family members and/or friends that you might not have seen since Christmas, or even longer!
One quote stands out to me, “It’s the thought that counts”. Especially with the holidays upon us, you realise that so many things we clutter our lives and time with, do not matter in the grand scheme of things.
Even tiny things we take for granted, like the sun beaming down or daffodils raising their vibrant, sprightly heads during Spring.
Whether you’re lucky enough to enjoy a picnic, egg hunt or even a barbecue in the garden with a selection of your loved ones (depending on covid restrictions near you), or you’re only allowed to go for a walk. Embrace your surroundings and let everyone know how much they mean to you, via phone call/video call at the very least!
Stuff your face with all the easter eggs you can get your hands on, blame it on ‘lockdown weight’. We’ve all been there!
They say that with the spring sunrise on Easter morning, comes love, happiness and joy. So I wish that all those things stop by your home and stay there – for COVID purposes of course.
How are you spending your Easter? I’m just having a quiet day at home and the highlight so far has been having Mozzarella Dips and the salsa dip from McDonald’s. If you don’t LOVE that from McDonald’s, who even are you?!
Have lockdown restrictions eased in your area? Are you able to see your friends/family, or do you have zoom calls pre-arranged? Comment below!
Happy Easter Everyone!
