The Best Heated Blankets on the Market – Beneficial for Raynaud’s Phenomenon.

Chilly temperatures but terrified of heating the house due to soaring costs? I feel you!
Whether you’re suffering from illness, anxiety or simply just can’t bare the cold, a heated blanket’s the way to go for virtually everyone!

Stylish? Questionable. Handy and cost effective whilst getting your blood flowing? 100%.
I think every household should have at least one heated blanket, heating every room in your home is so 2010. Even one room alone can be costly simply due to the times we’re in where prices have skyrocketed off the thermostat!

There may be an array of reasons why warmth is not only an essential but a non-negotiable. Whether you work from home, office or ready to curl up for the evening, your blanket is travel friendly due to the detachable option.

I suffer from Raynauds, which can be a pain in the… tips! It’s basically when your blood stops flowing properly to your fingers and toes. Due to spasms in the blood vessels. Your extremities can feel arctic, at times reflecting the colours of the rainbow; whether that be blue, purple, red or white. Often numbness and pain occurs so one of the simple, non-invasive ways of reducing these symptoms is to keep warm. Easier said than done in a cost of living crisis, I know right! But seriously, heated blankets can be beyond beneficial for an array of health

Heated blankets can be one of the most cost-efficient, energy saving methods – from as little as 1p an hour to run*. Yes, I wouldn’t blame you from stockpiling about 10 right now!

Machine washable, tumble dryer friendly so no strenuous hand-washing needed.

My first ever blanket recently broke, lasting just over 12 months which I wouldn’t recommend to anyone!
Avoid MonHouse, I repeat, AVOID!
I’m not ashamed to admit I have attachment issues and currently suffering withdrawal but I can reassure you, my new blanket is on its way. Until then, call me Miss Grumpyguts.

    1. My mum’s always been afraid of them for the same reason you’ve mentioned which automatically made me not get one until recently. Everything has a risk doesn’t it, but nowadays they have many more safety features like ‘auto shut off’, and ‘overheat protection’; there are also throw alternatives so you don’t have to attach it to your mattress. You could just lay it on your lap whilst reading or watching tv for example. Falling asleep with a heated blanket switched on understandably may make your mind race as it’s really not for everyone. But the throw versions are much more user friendly!

They do feel lovely and now I’m addicted!😂🤍

  1. This is very helpful since my mom and my friend both suffer from reynauds it’s a great blanket although it does still leave the extremities open to the cold. Since this is where the effect is most prevalent the wearing of thermal socks and gloves would be recommended as well.

    1. Sorry to hear that, it can be a pain at times can’t it but all you can do is manage it as best as possible. Most definitely, thermal gloves and socks always help, when you just want to relax with a cuppa tea, there’s nothing better than wrapping up in a toasty heated blanket! Doubling up with thermals and additional warmth is sheer bliss on those colder days as you’ve highlighted🤗.
Thankyouu so much for sharing! And I hope you, your mum and friend are all well!😃🤍

    1. You’re so welcome! I’m so sorry to hear about your fibromyalgia, the management for these conditions are lengthy aren’t they but the simplest of things can make such a difference to quality of life. Especially with the astronomical cost of bills nowadays, every little helps!🤗🤍
