What’s Your Favourite Brunch Meal Ever?

Ahhh I look forward to brunch, way more than breakfast. It’s an excuse for me to consume even more food, but without the guilt!

Brunch is breakfast and lunch combined, so it’s usually a larger meal than just breakfast. You usually skip breakfast for brunch, so it’s a weekend must have!

My favourite brunch meal ever would have to be….

Eggs Royale (Eggs Benedict with Salmon), or Eggs Royale with Lobster – if I’m going all out – or if someone else is paying! Hehe… I know, I’m a seafood junkie! With a mug of tea or apple juice!

  1. Oh my gosh, Antonia, your hair is gorgeous!! And those eggs royale! 😍 Those would be hard to beat. If it’s brunch for me, it’s usually a buffet that combines a little of breakfast and a little of lunch at the same meal. Here in Taiwan, the breakfast buffet that could easily work as brunch is a combination of Asian delicacies and western breakfasts. From that buffet, my favorite is a freshly cooked omelette wrapped in stir-fried veggies and melted cheese.

    1. Aww thankyouu so much!😊
      Eggs royale are the best!!
Ooooh a buffet, I love a buffet, as I can just eat a ridiculous amount of food, and not be charged for my portions!πŸ˜‚πŸ™Š
Ooooh that sounds like absolute bliss! I need to try out the breakfast buffets in Taiwan. But I can’t promise they’ll be any food left for anyone else!πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ½πŸ₯šπŸ§ˆπŸ₯™πŸ£πŸ§‡πŸ₯ž

  2. I rarely eat anything…snack most of the day…small portions of everything. But a favorite for me would be peanut butter on toasted Dave’s Killer Bread (yes, that is the name of it..amazing). Bread has 21 whole grains and seeds. Add one ripe juicy nectarine and my green tea with pomegranate.

    1. Oh really? A relative of mine naturally has the same kind of diet. Oooh I used to like peanut butter, before I developed a bad allergy to it!πŸ˜‚
Dave’s Killer Bread – I’ve never heard of it! But I’ll be on the lookoutπŸ‘€
      Nectarines are delicious, yesss!
I’m loving the selection of goods there! I’ll have to try out some of these recommendations on my next health kick!πŸ˜ƒπŸ₯—πŸ΅

    1. I like to think I have a refined palate, but some things I just can’t think of stomaching!πŸ˜‚ eggs royale isn’t too refinedπŸ‘€πŸ™Š
You must try and definitely let me know! It’s a game changer if made correctly!πŸ€€πŸ˜ƒ

      1. It sounds rich but it’s honestly a match made in heaven. If you maybe just use a touch of Hollandaise sauce, it won’t be rich at all!

    1. All day everyday!!! Breakfast is just so meh. Cereal is so boring!πŸ˜‚
Brunch is where the parties at!
I never used to like egg, but I now LOVE it! Eggs are in so many dishes! It’s a wonder ingredient! You’ll love eggs royale then!πŸ˜ƒπŸ€—

    1. Ooooh you can’t beat bacon and egg! I’ve never had it barbecued though! Barbecuing for lunch seems like a lot of effort!πŸ˜‚πŸ€” I wonder the difference, regarding flavour!πŸ€”

    1. Same! I don’t get very hungry in the morning. Ooh yes, it has to be an amazing sandwich though. I was watching a tv chef a couple of weeks ago, and he was making the most unhealthy sandwich you’d ever see in your life. Even the chef said, β€œThis is a heart attack sandwich,”
But it looked too good to resist!
It was a James Martin recipe!πŸ˜ƒ

  3. Omelet with mushrooms, almonds and apricot preserves.

Though, your Eggs Royale looks pretty darned spectacular, Antonia.

Isn’t brunch such a cool innovation? Comes just when we need it too, on the weekend, when we have (at last) a chance to breathe.
