Life Is Short, Filter Through The BS.

Why is a prognosis the biggest wake up call life can give you?

Tomorrow is a new day. Each is a lesson. Anything worth doing takes time. Family, friends and/or foe all take nuggets of time. Time we didn’t perceive as special, until now. You realise life isn’t promised and the simplest of moments mean the most.

You don’t realise how selfless you may have been until you have no energy left in the tank. You wait and wait; nothing miraculously appears within those four walls. You witness the pain, sorrow and anguish of how one sided relationships can be, witnessing a longing for people that don’t call, write or visit. It’s natural to begin looking at your own circle theoretically, skeptical of who you can be certain will be by your side in times of need.

When actions say one thing, it’s easier to believe another. In your hardest days, that’s when you know. Time is something you can’t get back. You know you’re loved when the reason to show up is none. If you’re faced with excuses, run.

There’s so much to be happy and grateful for. Embracing nature’s beauty and serenity come rain, shine or every sunrise can fill you with immense joy. After all, happiness starts with you.

  1. The energy we pour into others, often without a second thought, becomes apparent when we find ourselves depleted. It’s in these moments of vulnerability that the true nature of our relationships is revealed. The experience can be painful, yet it also offers a chance for growth and a deeper understanding of who we are and what we need from those around us.

    1. Oh yes, I completely agree. the deflated feeling whilst always showing up for others can be tiresome and puzzling. If you’re constantly turning up for others but no one’s showing up for you, what does that mean? The journey evaluating the true meaning of what friendship should mean and feel like to you can be eye-opening and life-changing. In the long term, we only wish we did it sooner!
      Preservation and self-happiness is key.
If you’re not 100%, how can you be expected to be the weight bearer for others?
Empowerment and growth is what life is all about🤍.

Thankyouu ever so much for sharing your words of wisdom, Kim!🤗🤍

  2. In your hardest days, thats when you know, time is some you can’t have back.

You’re right. In the face of hardship, the finite nature of time becomes painfully clear. When we’re struggling, each passing moment feels precious and irreplaceable. We yearn to rewind, to have more time to savor the good times, to mend the broken, or simply to pause and breathe.
The hardest days remind us that time is not just a measure of our lives, but also a resource we can spend wisely or squander carelessly. It’s in these moments that we truly understand the value of each sunrise, each conversation, each laughter shared. Great post. Well done.
