My Bronze Goddess Makeup for New Year’s Eve 2022!

2023 is calling… Dress code: BRONZE! Featuring a product I’ve recently reviewed..

Let’s get to it! We’re rushing around getting last minute jobs done, in time for 2023. You don’t want to be reading paragraphs of me rambling on, trust me for once I hear you! Fast-forwarding to ‘You shall go to the ball!’.

Foundation and Concealer: Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk | NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer.

Any contour/bronzer you have to hand. I used NARS ‘Laguna’ Bronzer and NARS ‘Orgasm X’ Blush.

Eyes: Beginning with Urban Decay Primer Potion. I used Charlotte Tilbury Colour Chameleon in ‘Amber Haze’ as my base creamy shade for the powder shadows to adhere to. This step is optional, I just wanted the extra va va voom, but in reality it looks identical without it. I then, used the NARS Au Soleil Face Palette, virtually all colours focusing GHOST WAVE (red/copper/bronze shimmer) on the whole eyelid up to the crease, UNBUTTONED (dark brown shimmer) on the outer corners of the eyelid. Mirroring this technique on the lower eyelid so the total perimeter of your eye is bronze. Think Victoria Beckham. Taking the shade BANGOL (gold shimmer), and focusing it only on the centre of your top and bottom lids as a pop of light that’s extremely effective under any lighting! If you don’t have this palette, any brown toned palette you own will be perfect! Using UNLEASHED (bronzer) on a fluffy eyeshadow brush, mimic a windscreen wiper type-motion by swiping the warm brown to your eye-socket crease and outward, for a soft smokey effect. Lastly, apply your highlighter shade for your inner corners and browbone.

Eyeliner: Any eyeliner, I used Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner in ‘Demolition’, if you don’t have eyeliner, grab the darkest brown eyeshadow you own, and focus it only on your lash line. You can then add the tiniest amount of black eyeshadow, to the outer lashline, just to intensify your lash line slightly.

Lips: Any nude lip liner and lipstick you own. Even a red lip with this would look so glamorous. I used the MAC Lip Pencil in ‘Cork’. MAC Matte Lipstick in ‘Velvet Teddy’. Add a gloss for extra juicy lips! I chose not to as I was eating a feast beforehand, I would’ve just consumed the gloss rather than wear it!

Finishing Spray: It can be drugstore like the Morphe Continuous Setting Mist, water or higher-end like MAC fix+. It’s new year’s eve, have fun with it!
